Are you interested in sharing your stories through written and spoken word? Would you like to turn this passion into a career, but are unsure of where to start?
Join us for this creative masterclass led by poetry slam winner and playwright, Kat François, who will provide guidance on what it takes to enter the industry. As well as answering your questions, Kat will provide the opportunity to get creative and have fun with your writing.
Kat François was the first person to win a televised poetry slam in the UK, before going on to win the World Slam Championships just one year later. As well as performing spoken word, Kat has written and performed two internationally staged solo plays and two comedy show, as well as devising and directing plays for London theatres including Theatre Royal Stratford East, Roundhouse Camden and Lyric Theatre Hammersmith. She is also a talented author and you can find her short story, Indigo Waters, featured in Hidden Realms, Short Stories, published by Flame Tree Publishing.
