The substances of our lives are not without their shadows, more so when the sun is at its full glare. Beneath bright lights of inspiration men and women will speak from ailing shadows; shadows of birth, shadows of experience, shadows of race, shadows of purpose. This night will be an eclectic mesh of poetries, such as one has never heard it. Come prepared to spit, mingle, and love. Apart from the odes, there will be music and great food. Come with all and sundry. Admission is $20.
