Dahlia Club Show at the Fair on Wednesday 11th Morning at 8:00AMEvery year at the fair the club holds two dahlia shows. The big IEDs sponsored show is on September 14th this year and this smaller club member only show is now on Wednesday the 11th. Many of the club members will be at the ADS National Show in Wenatchee this year, so the two show dates have been moved to accommodate this. Our "Saturday Morning Special" is now a "Wednesday Morning Special" for this year only.
For this smaller show, you need to be a club member. You can come stage your flowers Tuesday the 10th between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. The flowers are judged at 5:45. Wednesday morning the public enjoys the flowers. The club needs members to help judge and clerk (help the judges) with the flowers Tuesday at 5:45-7:30-ish. Please let the club know if you can help out-clerks desperately needed.
**Remember Volunteers get entry to the fair and parking.
**If you are new to showing flowers, make sure your general fair entry is turned in, perferably by August 6th. and just bring your flowers. The club will have members there to help you put the flowers in vases, do the tags, and get everything together.
