You’re invited to the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program’s Fall Open House, where the UF campus community can learn more about our dynamic program centered on research, teaching, and public engagement. Join us to explore our current oral history initiatives, including community-based projects focused on environmental history, the Underground Railroad, and elders’ experiences in Florida. Meet our staff, faculty, and researchers, and hear about how oral history methods are being used across campus.The event will also highlight opportunities to get involved—whether you’re interested in conducting interviews, exploring our extensive digital archives, or joining the the Student’s Oral History Club. We’ll have refreshments, printed materials, and a welcoming space to connect with others who care about preserving voices, stories, and memory!
