About this Event

Greg Freeman is news and reviews editor of the poetry website Write Out Loud.

His recently published full collection Marples Must Go! has been described by Twitter’s ‘poet laureate’ Brian Bilston as “a wonderful poetic romp through the history of modern Britain”, while his previous collection Trainspotters was praised by Liverpool poet Brian Patten as “snapshots of gone and going worlds, more evocative than any photo”.

He is a former newspaper sub-editor who hails from the same Surrey town as The Jam, and co-comperes a monthly poetry night, Write Out Loud Woking, both live and on Zoom.
