Dr Marcia Morgan is a practitioner-researcher and works for the Prison and Probation Service. She is also a member of the Prison Service Journal editorial team and an author of two books:
- Black women prison employees: The intersectionality of Gender and Race, and
- The silenced voice: There is purpose in pain, a Business Book Awards 2021 finalist.
Marcia was a Brighton & Hove Arts Council poetry festival competition 2021 finalist. She enjoys using poetry to bridge the gap between theory, practice, and experience, to make plain the theories of intersectionality and organisational psychodynamics in prison work.
