SPMOP Portfolio Reviews

Saint Petersburg Month of Photography is excited to present an opportunity for students, as well as amateur and professional photographers to have their portfolios reviewed by photography experts at the Morean Arts Center on Saturday, May 18, 2024 (2 - 4 pm).

During the portfolio reviews, participants will have the unique opportunity to receive positive and constructive feedback on their work and ideas from photography professionals with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. The reviews are for in-progress and/or completed work, each session will last 15 minutes. Each participant is required to book a minimum of 2 sessions, with a limit of 4 sessions.

IMPORTANT: Apart from buying a ticket, please fill out the . Here you can provide us with your first choices of reviewers. We will try to accommodate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Steven Benson - Award winning photographer, curator (Southeast Museum), educator and writer

Beth Reynolds - Photographer and founder of the photographic arts program at the Morean Arts Center

Marieke van der Krabben - Executive director SPMOP, photography curator/historian

TIPS:

1. Make sure your portfolio is well organized (on paper or digital) and is easily accessible.
2. Prepare some specific questions to get the most out of your review.
3. Be on time!

Terms and Agreements:

• Sign up for reviews will be confirmed when payment is received.
• Participants have to fill out the sign up form on the website in order to participate.

• Portfolio Review schedule will be made in order of sign up, on a first come first serve basis.
• Payments will be non-refundable in case of no-show, tardiness, or cancellation on behalf of the participant.
• Payments will be refunded in case of any cancellation by SPMOP or Morean Arts Center

• If a portfolio reviewer is unable to attent the participant will be contacted for a refund or a schedule change.
