In this workshop, we will cover everything involved in being able to actually achieve square splits. The focus will be on the actual form and technique required to train the body for accessing square splits. You will develop a strong foundation to safely and correctly slide into a beautiful split. Expect pre warm-up exercises, warm-up exercises, specific and targeted exercises and we'll end practicing getting into our splits. The key to this workshop is to know where you are at within your splits practice, and know that with practice and repetition, you will gradually achieve your splits goals!
About Vanessa:
Vanessa is an highly experienced Physical Therapist, with a vast background in various movement practices (dance, Pilates, yoga, Aerial/Circus Arts, Contortion, and Handstands), along with numerous certifications and trainings in these movement practices. She believes that the key to proper and safe movement is having a strong foundation from which to build all of our skills. Any skill is possible with a solid foundation from which to practice.
