'Splashback! Art for Aquatic Action' is a unique competition that invites students across Australia to explore and celebrate NSW's unique aquatic fauna that are currently under threat of extinction. Through art, students will learn about the importance of protecting our threatened species, their habitats and actions underway to help recover them.

All entries will be proudly displayed at our special exhibition day!

๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐: Gaden Trout Hatcheryโs Visitorsโ Centre in Jindabyne
๐๐ข๐ฆ๐: 11:30am - 2pm (with optional Gaden hatchery tours at 11am or 2pm)

You must be a student in Australia between the ages of 4 and 18.
๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐:
โข Choose an aquatic species currently threatened in NSW
โข Create an artwork that visually represents your chosen species
โข Submit a short written piece (50โ150 words) alongside your artwork
๐๐ฎ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
In-person entries and online entries are to be submitted by 3pm on Wednesday 5th November.
Winning entries will be awarded โStocky Stockingsโ packed full of fishy flavoured goodies such as hats, water bottle holders and lures.
