Meet DJ Flat 4 — Named for the Flat 4 engine of a Subaru, Jessica is a rally driver, drag racer, and dynamic DJ with roots in Essex, VT! Her love for music sparked early through competitive dance, where she discovered how powerfully music shapes emotion and experience. Professionally, she’s no stranger to the spotlight, having organized and emceed high-profile events for foreign dignitaries, and worked closely with DJs on the sci-fi convention circuit. After the loss of her husband Jonathan in 2021, she channeled her energy into her passion for DJing. Under the guidance of two mentor DJs — one in hardstyle, the other in house/disco/funk paired with her passion for all things geek, gaming and nerd — she honed her sound and made her club debut at the Breezeway Club in Manchester, NH in 2022. In March 2024, she shifted gears again, landing a residency with Image Mfg. Co. and bringing her unique sound to the car enthusiast world. Flat 4 has spun with prominent Burlington venues including Red Square, Einsteins, Arts Riot, Orlandos. With creativity, grit, and a serious need for speed, DJ Flat 4 continues to accelerate toward the next big stage. #DriventoDance
