The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Region 8 Conference will take place April 4 to April 5 at Texas State University, Old Main.
About this Event

The SPJ Region 8 Conference will begin Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. with an opening mixer at Valentino's Pizza. Join us for a night of food, drinks, trivia and fun with fellow conference attendees on the San Marcos Square. The official event will start Saturday, April 5 with registration opening at 8 a.m. in historic Old Main on the Texas State University campus. The event will welcome media professionals and student journalists from Texas and Oklahoma for a day of in-depth discussions adressing the biggest topics in journalism. We will also honor recipients of the SPJ Mark of Excellence(MOE) Awards at the conclusion of the conference.
