Rev. Dr. Busby received his medical doctorate (MD, cum laude) degree and Master of Science (MSc) degree in biophysics from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. His post-graduate studies at The Ohio State University and the Lovelace Foundation led to his being certified as a specialist in Aerospace Medicine. In ministry, he received his Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from the Chicago Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees from the Graduate Theological Foundation. He has been an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ for 26 years, serving as an instructor at the Chicago Theological Seminary, an interim (transitional) minister, and a
pulpit supply minister. He has preached and lectured on spiritual healing in several Protestant denominations and practiced spiritual healing in many churches, hospitals, homes, and other venues. His 67 publications include the first book on clinical problems from hazards of space operations and two books on spiritual healing. He has recently told his life story to date in “My Experiences in Medicine, Theology, and Along the Way,” a book published by Amazon (http://tiny.cc/BusbyBook).
