Feed the spirit and celebrate the body with powerful panel discussions, inspiring practitioner presentations, and—of course—fierce and fabulous performances.
Bonnie Violet (a queer chaplain) and 18 others drag artists, LGBTQIA+ clergy, and other allies are curating the first annual Drag & Spirituality Summit to take place in Chicago 2022.
This will take place on Friday Oct 7 (12p - 4pm) at Center On Halsted, Saturday Oct 8 (10a-4p) at Broadway United Methodist & Sunday Oct 9 (10a-4p) at Center on Halsted with special Spiritual Drag shows on Friday & Saturday night, Sunday afternoon Family Edition
This conference experience is designed for exploration and celebration of the intersections of Drag & Spirituality, audience participants will be a diverse set of drag artists from all around the globe, the people who follow them and the spiritual communities that house & support them.
This will be hybrid (in-person and virtual), with closed captions, ASL and other language Interpretation where needed.
The summit will consist of panel discussions, workshops, vendors, keynote speakers & performance.
