Spirits of the East ~ A Beltane Celebration
A feast of fire and flowers.
By playing, we learn. As the young spring sun begins to grow stronger, we encourage the youthful flame inside us and in nature to grow brighter with foods and rituals. Midway between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, we celebrate the cross holiday of Beltane, which carries the energy of the mature and fertile spring. Ancient and modern Earth-worshipping festivals and celebrations feed the fertility inside of us and inside of Earth, so we can continue blossoming into a fruitful summer.
Join us on a regenerative farm in Ventura County for a nourishing open-fire farm to table meal inspired by Spring flavors. Tying a story into each dish, you will be taken on a journey as we follow the currents of nature, riding the regenerative waves of renewal that Spring brings. Allow inspiration to take over through the live music, contemporary dance, and Beltane rituals that will mirror nature ~ offering the deeper teachings of celebration and joy in order to create more life in the many moons to come.
This intimate gathering promises to transport you to a realm where spirits come alive. The expansive energy of this portal has us growing towards the sun and prepares us for the lighter shifts that Spring naturally brings.
Attire: As we journey through this magical portal together, we encourage you to dress as your favorite fruit or veggie. If this isn’t your jam, no costume is needed. However, we warmly invite you to let your produce-inspired spirit shine in whatever way feels right for you ~ just be sure to wear comfy walking shoes!
