The Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department and Walkin’ Roll Activities League invite the community to a fun and educational evening at the Spirits of Service & Good Deeds Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 5-7:30 p.m. at L.P. Frans Stadium.This free event is open to all and offers families the chance to collect candy, meet local community helpers, and learn about careers in public service. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite community helper.
The event will feature public service workers who help keep our community safe and running smoothly. These professionals will be available to talk about their careers and the services they provide. The event also aims to educate and raise awareness among people with disabilities about the many roles that support our community.
L.P. Frans Stadium is located at 2500 Clement Boulevard NW in Hickory.
