Join us for a community dinner, a special evening where we will break break together, learn and connect, while honouring our local Elders.
For the past year, Raina has been working on a grant she received through BC NEIHR to meet with Metis Elders in BC and record their stories, creating a thread of spirit community along the way. This dinner is the finale to complete that work and share with the community.
During and after aaen boon vayaazh (the good journey) Raina wrote a booklet, a collection of the Elders' stories and this elegant dinner will share some of those stories, as well as some from the road.

Mixed berry crumble + gf dessert option
Kitschi Maarsii to BC NEIHR for funding this grant research on our BC Elders and our sharing dinners in the community to thread our hearts together through traditional food. Kitschi Maarsii to GF Seniors Hall and the Boundary Metis Association for hosting.
