Hares have forever been associated with Goddesses, witches, and the moon - as omens, familiars and shapeshifters... They are elusive and quick, but also; as folklore would have it; proud and tricksy. Our day will centre around a series of magical explorations of the beauty and intelligence of this wild creature, in myth and reality. And; as with all Wild Women Winter gatherings; there will be the usual sprinkling of song, ceremony, storytelling, sharing, crafts, mirth, meditation, and plenty of time for mingling...Our guest this year will be the fabulous storyteller Lisa Schneidau - author of books on Botanical, River, and Woodland folktales of Britain and Ireland...
This year, (for those who book), we have the privilege of the White Spring all to ourselves on Sunday lunchtime! Don't miss the chance to sing with us and dip in the sacred waters, in this profound private ritual space.
10am-4pm Nov 9th at Assembly rooms, Glastonbury.
