We are pleased to offer a rare opportunity to investigate this remarkable building.Carry out a paranormal investigation at the Corn Exchange in aid of the Old Library Campaign. Steeped in history, the Corn Exchange was built in 1861, replacing the run-down Guildhall where merchants first traded agricultural products. It continued to be used as a trading place until the great depression in the 19th century and was the venue for many key moments in Newbury’s history including royal visits and the opening of the railway until its transformation into a theatre in 1993.
On the night you will split into teams with a lead investigator, where you’ll be able to experiment with state-of-the-art equipment or use more traditional methods of investigating the paranormal.
Tickets priced at £39pp (Over 18s only)
Tea/ coffee and light refreshments included.
general public tickets available from the 13th March
