Held at Fleecewood, Anneâs tranquil farmlet in the Wai-iti Valley, youâll begin by learning how to guide the woolâspinning with intention, not just instinct. Discover how to control yarn thickness, texture, and twist to match your creative vision.

- Precision spinning: impose your wishes on the wool, not the other way around
- Novelty yarns: experiment with spiral spinning, shaggy textures, core spinning, bouche, ratâs tails, and more
- Plying & binding techniques: learn how to add structure, whimsy, and strength to your yarns
- Hands-on practice: spin and take home several skeins of your own experimental yarns
