If Rumplestiltskin or the Swan Princess were your idols growing up, we’ve got a class for you! Work your way from drop spindle to finished 2ply yarn in three weeks. This class will teach you the basics of drafting, spinning, plying, and setting the twist. You’ll finish the class with a skein of 2ply handspun yarn and the foundational skills of spinning.Required tools:
-Drop spindle. Bring your own or purchase one from us. Enrolled students receive 10% off the cost.
-Spinning wheel with 3 bobbins. Bring your own working wheel* or rent one for the duration of the class.
Masks and proof of COVID vaccination will be required.
This is a 3 week long class, dates are August 6th, 13th, & 20th 11am-1pm
