By completion of the seminar, attendees will be able to successfully:
- Paraphrase Relative Motion and how it pertains to ART treatment.
- Interpret Single-loop Negative Feedback and how it pertains to ART treatment.
- Understand the four basic components of ART treatment protocols.
- Recognize common symptom patterns of spinal neuromuscular injuries and disorders.
- Identify 48 anatomical structures of the spine.
- Recall origin and insertion of 48 spine structures.
- Palpate 48 anatomical soft-tissue structures within the spine, using an appropriate tension, depth, and motion to properly perform the treatment protocol.
- Summarize the cellular response to ART® treatment on soft tissue structures.
- Instruct a patient to perform concentric and eccentric muscle contractions.
- Compare between healthy and unhealthy tissue utilizing hands-on palpation techniques.
- Identify a muscle or soft tissue that is not contracting properly through palpation and patient assessment.
- Palpate, differentiate, and treat the structures of the lumbar spine.
- Palpate, differentiate, and treat the structures of the thoracic spine.
- Palpate, differentiate, and treat the structures of the cervical spine.
- Palpate, differentiate, and treat the structures of the abdomen / core.
- Recite the physiological methodology of ART’s Diagnostic Algorithm.
All attendees must be present for the full instructional portion and pass the in-person practical exam to successfully complete the seminar.
All attendees will receive a letter of attendance following the seminar.
