A Spinal Cord Injury is a life altering event that can be difficult to adjust to for both the patient and family. The Kaweah Health Support Group provides opportunities for individuals with spinal cord injuries to connect with others who have similar life altering experiences who are also adjusting to living a life with a spinal cord injury. Our group promotes camaraderie through friendship, education, advocacy, and recreation to enhance the quality of life for those affected by spinal cord injuries. We are a support group focused on empowering members with information and providing emotional support to promote both good health and a good quality of life.
A crucial thing to remember in your recovery process is that you are not alone. Eben on the days where you feel as though nobody understands, there are people who have been in your position, and probably can relate to exactly what you are going through. Come join us at Kaweah Health to receive peer support designed to offer you and your loved one's invaluable guidance and support in an atmosphere of caring and sharing to assist with your recovery.
