Engage Winona warmly invites all community members to attend open gallery hours for Spillway Stories, a magazine and art show featuring stories and portraits of local residents. Join us to explore the work of Spillway Stories, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with fellow community members.
Attendees will have the chance to engage with powerful photos, art, and narratives that reflect the experiences, challenges, and community efforts of those around them. These gallery hours provide a welcoming space to connect, reflect, and immerse yourself in the stories that shape our community. Copies of the Spillway Stories magazine will be available for free.
The drop-in galley hours are planned for November 6 and December 4, both first Wednesdays, from 3-6 p.m. No RSVP is necessary, and all ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
Spillway Stories are brought to you by Engage Winona and Art of the Rural, with support from the Chicago Community Foundation. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
