Team Bright Side's new fundraiser, "Spike Against Cancer," is an opportunity for you, your friends, and coworkers to get outside and spend some time together outside of the stress of work and life under the lights at North Avenue Beach in downtown Chicago.
By signing up as a team of six to ten, you'll be entered into the volleyball tournament, with a guaranteed hour of play plus unlimited food and drink. Do you want to hang but don't feel like playing? An individual ticket will get you entrance to the event along with food, drink, DJ and more.
About Team Bright Side:
Tracey Scheppach founded Team Bright Side in response to her son’s diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The team trains athletes to compete in the Chicago and New York City triathlons while raising funds to eradicate pediatric blood cancers. With over 570 athlete finishes, Team Bright Side has raised over $1.5 million including a recent donation of $500,000 to the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital.
