🔮 How do I access the event?
There are two accessible car parks available at MAP mima, with additional parking at Creek Reserve Road car park. The event is accessible via the lake foreshore cycleway and public transport. Please note: Limited parking is available near the Cockle Creek Boat Ramp—check signs carefully. Alternative parking is on Park Road near Speers Point Pool, with a short walk down the promenade.
🔮 Is Spicy Brain an all-ages event?
Yes! Spicy Brain is an inclusive, family-friendly event with activities for all ages to enjoy.
🔮 Are there accessible toilets?
Yes! MAP mima has public amenities, including two all-gender toilets (one accessible with RH transfer). Additional accessible public toilets are located adjacent to the MAP building and Cockle Creek car park.
🔮 Will there be Auslan interpreters or captioning for deaf or hard-of-hearing attendees?
Yes! An Auslan interpreter will be on stage for the showcase.
🔮 What if I have a question or need assistance at the event?
Look for our friendly Spicy Brain volunteers wearing bright yellow or orange vests. They’re happy to answer questions and provide assistance.
🔮 Will there be food and drink available?
Yes! Food vendors will be onsite from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, offering a variety of delicious options. Please note: The onsite café, Harry and Lola’s, will be closed during the event.
