Twin Trees is a Central New York institution.
So the fact that they said yes to this is… kind of huge.
Which means on Thursday, Feb 19th, Spice Spice Baby is officially stepping into iconic territory.
And I need you to understand something up front:
I already know what I’m ordering.
Mild wings. Cheesy beer dip.
And yes - I will be dipping the wings into the cheese.
And yes - by the end of the night I will be covered in wing sauce and cheese while hosting a trivia show.
We’re all just going to have to be emotionally prepared for that.
Spice Spice Baby is not your phone-app, stare-at-a-TV trivia night.
This is old-school, pen-and-paper, heads-up, talk-to-your-friends, yell-at-strangers, win-some-money energy - now happening inside one of the most loved dining rooms in Central New York.
How it works:
- One full trivia game
- Five rounds
- Escalating points round to round
- About 60–75 minutes total
- Teams of all sizes welcome
Each team gets one lifeline called “Phone-a-Josh.”
Use it once per game, raise your hand, point to one question, and I’ll come over and give you a one-word clue.
It may help.
It may derail you.
The stakes:
- $5 per person to play
- 50% of the pot goes to the winning team
- Josh bakes something for the losing team
Yes. You can win real money.
Yes. You can also lose and watch a grown man host trivia while actively eating like it’s his last meal.
Bonus chaos:
Josh will have his spice blends set up for sale, because if you’re going to Twin Trees anyway, you might as well leave with seasoning and a story.
So this is the iconic stop.
