SPF Work/Play - January 31st, 2026

RAIN OR SHINE! Come get your hands dirty, learn some permaculture skills, eat some tasty foodz and revel in the soil!

"SPF Work / Play Weekends" are educational volunteer days that happen (aspirationally) a few Saturdays a month. We host between 12-20 volunteer punks per events!

This all happens here at Solar Punk Farms. Volunteers are responsible for finding their own way to the farm, but if you need help, we can try to see if car sharing with other volunteers is possible!

TODAY: We will using upcycled concrete to create a second garden terrace, learning the methods of sheet mulching, and helping tend the annuals garden.

What to bring:

Layers, waterproof clothing, and a water bottle.

Garden gloves if you have them (we will provide if not)

An appetite for lunch. We make our famous beet sandwiches for lunch (vegetarian), vegan and/or gluten-free options can be made available, please let us know beforehand.
