SpellWeaving Workshoppe - Spellwriting 101: Make It So!!

Everyone can create their own spells! Whether you are a Witch with decades of dedication to the Craft, or you have just begun your Witchy journey, you can and should write your own spells.
As the Wisest Witch I’ve ever known once advised me, all you need to be a Witch is right here – in your own heart, mind and spirit! Blue Cobweb would just add, with a pen & paper or laptop…
In this, her first SpellWeaving class, Blue Cobweb will celebrate that most powerful, wondrous and necessary tool in the Witch’s array: the writing and casting of spells.
The basics of spell writing will be presented and discussed: grounding and setting your specific intention; the innumerably varied forms of writing your spell; choosing your style – finding your voice; selecting a place to write and create; taking your spell deeper – selecting your spell’s strengthening tools; and how to set up your complete spellweaving process - with words and herbs and candles and bells – or with your powerful words alone!
Blue Cobweb will guide you through writing a spell in class. The energy, creativity and intuition of your classmates will contribute to manifesting your heartfelt spellweaving magick!
The class will end with everyone writing their own spell, and weaving the intention of that spell, together with appropriately coloured cords and beads and other magickally corresponding items, into your own personal Witch’s Plait! (Please bring any items that you would like to knot or fasten into your plait, to strengthen your spell and your heart!)

About the teacher:
Donna (Blue Cobweb) is a proud feminist activist, writer, dog mum, and just ‘came out’ as a Witch in 2019 - after identifying as a Witch most of her life. She always felt an affinity with Maleficent in ‘Sleeping Beauty’.. Her preferred method of spellcasting is with candles and herbs; she is deeply happy with writing her own spells. Some of her favorite things are writing, reading, music, her canine familiar Cobweb II, raccoon videos, and spending time absorbing the marvelously witchy atmosphere of Coven. She’s looking forward to sharing her love of spellwriting with everyone!
