A massive double header this Easter weekend at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway when the most sought after Stockcar Championship in the Manawatu is decided, add in all your favourites racing and what an epic two nights of speedway entertainment you have! Kicking off on Good Friday the qualifying for the Dittmer Collison Repairs Stockcar King of the Arena Championship plus SuperStock Dash for Cash, ENZED Manawatu Midget Champs, Mag and Tyre Streetstock Tri-Series and the Lucas Oil Super Saloon Shootout Series.
Easter Saturday is full of high-octane action with the finals of the Dittmer Collision Repairs Stockcar King of the Arena Championship, Lucas Oil Midget King of the Arena, Minisprints, Historic Stockcars and PN Registered Youth Ministocks only.
Good Friday and what a good night it’s going to be when the qualifying gets underway for the Dittmer Collison Repairs Stockcar King of the Arena Championship, local drivers are still at the forefront of the favourites to take the ultimate title and the massive $5,000 prizemoney - the largest prize pool on offer during the current season. With stirrers’ money, and championship pride on the line – expect some of the hardest stockcar racing to be seen this season.
With 3nz Stockcar Kyle Rowe who has had another stella season he will be looking to eye another championship podium. Mix in Jared Davis, Beau McLeod, and Taylor Lampp who are all currently at the pointy end of the Season Points chase and in with a real chance of the podium. The battle for this title will be supreme, all tactics will come into play and the best will come out on top! A hard-fought battle will be held to find the Top 32 Stockcars for the Championship.
The familiar roar of Superstocks hitting the dirt is an institution in Palmerston North, and a quality field of these fearless drivers are ready to race for the Dash for Cash. Four races will be included in the programme for the class with two heats, a shootout which the winner will receive $500, and a final race where there is $1500 on offer for the winner. Competition fit local drivers will be at the forefront of the chase and visiting drivers will be looking to dash the hope of those who try to outrun the fierce challengers.
A round of the Mag & Tyre Hastings Streetstock Series will have us all reminiscing the glory days of Valliant’s, Commodores, and Falcon’s racing side by side for the prestigious honours of the Tri Series– with 25 drivers from around the North and South Island including 1nz Jareb Verdoner from Dunedin. This title is hotly contested and will provide the fans with some spectacular limited contact racing!
Super Saloons racing for the Lucas Oil Super Saloon Shootout Series add to a packed show at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway. The wide tyres, V8 engines and distinctive low sportscar bodies, these drivers are impressive racing wheel-to-wheel every lap which is proving popular not only with drivers but the spectators alike.
Two nights of sensational Midget car racing will be something you don’t want to miss starting the weekend with the ENZED Manawatu Midget Championship which will be hotly contested with drivers from the north island making the trip down the country to contest the local title, the local hard chargers, Karl McGill, and Shane Dewar and will all be doing their upmost to keep the title honours in town.

Easter Saturday
With the qualifying now complete, a Stockcar repechage race to begin the night, and an exciting addition of the promotor/club choice drivers to make the final 32 car field, the Dittmer Collison Repairs Stockcar King of the Arena champion will be decided.
After last night’s qualifying action, there is no doubt that Saturday nights Stockcar racing will leave you on the edge of your seats, with the massive $5,000 prizemoney - the largest prize pool on offer during the current season. And incentives for drivers to stir up the championship its set to be the best stockcar event of the season.
Robertson Prestige International Speedway is home to a number of competitive Stockcar drivers who are all within title contention, will the team tactics come into play or will it be a feat of individual triumph to stand on top of the podium. Make sure you are trackside to witness this prestigious Stockcar Championship decided.
Consolation Stockcar races will be included in the programme for the drivers who didn’t make the Top 32 Cars for the Championship.
The nonstop action from the sensational Midgets racing wheel to wheel, this time competing for the Lucas Oil Midget King of the Arena, with a field of quality drivers who have dialled in their set up the previous night, this Championship will no doubt come down to the wire and be edge of your seat action! Two massive nights of the best Midget racing the lower North Island has seen in recent times. These speed demons mean business!
Adding support to what is going to be a sensational night of speedway action are the magnificent Minisprints, future of speedway Youth Ministocks – PN Registered Only, and The Historic Stockcars will jog your memory from yester-year, of the good old days of Stockcar racing.

Please note: Out of town contracted cars, before your name will appear on any confirmed drivers lists a clearance from your home track is required if your track is running the class. This is a Speedway New Zealand rule.
Complimentary Adult Tickets dated 22nd March & 5th April can be used at this event, or any other event until the end of the season on May 10th, 2025.
Tickets are available to pre-purchase online from www.ticketek.co.nz, (tickets purchased incur an additional service fee) or on race day from Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 3.30pm both days. Racing Starts 5pm both days.
Admission prices both days are $30 for an Adult (16 years and over), $10 for Children aged 8-15, and $70 for a Family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
