Get ready to race the clock, test your teamwork, and have a whole lot of fun — Speed Puzzling is brand new to Hockey Day Lakeville this year, and we can’t wait to see you compete!
Whether you’re a seasoned puzzle pro or just in it for the laughs, this fast-paced event is all about friendly competition, collaboration, and community.

Entry Fee: $50 per team
Team Size: 4 people per team

👀 Spectators welcome! Friends and family are invited to watch from the perimeter of the contest area as space allows. To keep teams focused, only registered team members will be allowed at puzzle tables.

Puzzles remain hidden until the timer starts
When the clock begins, it’s a race to finish first!

🏆 Divisions
Choose the division that best fits your team:
Advanced Division
For experienced teams who regularly puzzle together and can complete a 500-piece puzzle in under 35 minutes
Intermediate Division
For teams with some experience who typically finish in 35–60 minutes
Social Division
Perfect for first-time teams, casual puzzlers, or anyone who enjoys a relaxed pace (about 1–2 hours)

To keep things fair and fun for everyone:
All teams receive the same puzzle
Puzzle images remain secret until the timer starts
No tools, devices, or outside assistance (except approved accessibility aids — please contact us with questions)
Timekeepers will be on site to record finishing times
Teams and individuals may not distract or approach other teams during competition
