In-Person Speed Dating events have returned to Auckland!
We are excited to return to the singles market and offer events where you can meet face-to-face to see if there is chemistry IRL.
Why Speed Dating?
Unlike attempting to meet someone organically at a bar or cafe, everyone is here for the same reason. Individuals who sign up for speed dating are single and looking to form a solid bond or relationship with someone special.
At a typical Speed Dating event, you can expect to meet between 8-14 other singles for 6-7 minutes each. Our events tend to attract a great crowd of single professionals who are busy and simply do not have the time to swipe endlessly for hours on the apps.
Can anyone join?
Inclusivity is important to us and we want to make sure everyone feels safe and welcomed. Please note, we reserve the right to deny service to those who we feel would be anything less than pleasant at our events. We do not tolerate rudeness or poor etiquette of any sort at our events. If you have any questions regarding behavior that is/isn't accepted, please contact the organizer.
Regarding age ranges, this is to be used as a guideline only and meant to depict a certain life stage. If you feel you are in a similar place in life as the age range listed, you are more than welcome to join.
What can I Expect?
When you arrive, our event host will welcome you and sign you in. You will be given a number that will match a table in the room and the ladies stay seated while the men rotate. The men will then rotate from table to table until they meet each woman. It is recommended that you keep track of who you like during the event on your phone's notepad or piece of paper to help you remember all the participants. You will then be asked to manually submit your match choices to the host using one of our track cards or via the online matching system. Following the event, you will find out who you mutually matched with via email.
Dress code?
There is no strict dress code, but we recommend you dress to impress. It is a first date, after all!
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and get situated. Early Bird Tickets are available up to one week prior to the event. After that, ticket prices will go up in price to $45. You MUST purchase a ticket in advance to reserve your spot. We do not accept cash at the door. One drink ticket is included per person and can be redeemed for tap beer, select wines, select gin & tonics. Your ticket must be used before 7pm.
