Encounter Dating are hosting a Speed Dating event exclusively for singles aged 38-50 at The Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay.About this Event
Expect to meet eligible singles from across Sydney for a night of fun and flirtation!
You'll go on a series of mini-dates with around 12 singles of the opposite sex, with the ladies remaining seated and the guys moving tables every six minutes. You get to decide who you would like to contact further after the event through our matching platform.
Speed Dating is all about having a fun night out and meeting new people, face to face in the easiest way possible and as everyone’s single and up for meeting people the success rate is very high.
What Ages Can I Expect To Meet
We usually find that the ladies tend to be in the younger age range e.g. 38-48 while the men are a few years older e.g. 40-50

Event Itinerary
7.30pm - Guest arrivals, welcome drink and pizza served
8.00pm (approx) - Speed dating begins
9.30pm (approx) - Speed dating ends and post event socialising begins
Once you arrive, make your way upstairs to the Terrace and Spare Room where our friendly hosts will greet you and sign you in. Collect your welcome drink from the bar and enjoy some pizza while we wait for all guests to arrive.
Please bring your photo ID with you and either an electronic or printed copy of your ticket.

I am older or younger than the specified age group – can I still attend?
This event is for singles aged 38-50, however as a part of our Terms and Conditions we allow guests to be outside of the age specified by a maximum of 12 months for this event. Please ensure you have photo ID with you to produce on request.
Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?
Yes, we do offer free name transfers as long as your friend is of the same sex and within the specified age requirement for the event. Simply email us at [email protected] with your booking details and your friend’s full name, age and email address.
How do I select my Matches?
After the event, log in to Encounter Match and select who you would like to see again. If they have also selected you, your preferred contact details will be shared with each other instantly on the My Matches page. You will have 24hrs to select your matches after the event.
Can I bring a friend to the event?
Yes! You are welcome to purchase a ticket for a single friend. We just ask that they are within the specified age group for this event.
