Love Found STL hosts fun and safe speed dating events at Luvwoo Bar (12965 Olive Blvd, 63141) (zyilistl.com/luvwoo-bar)! Tickets are required ($30; ticket sales end 24 hours before the event starts; see events below; only 10 total tickets per event).Please read the event title to ensure you fit the category (these are general groupings, you may still sign-up for a group outside of your age range if that is your preference)! All speed dating events target single people who are not legally married (divorces must be finalized) and are looking for a serious long term monogamous relationship. We prefer people who permanently live in the greater St. Louis, MO, area.
You must buy the correct corresponding ticket for each event. For example, for events with both women and men, only 5 men and 5 women can attend a specific event. As such, there are 5 of each ticket available (the tickets say men or women).
Dress is everyday casual. No need to bring anything except an ID (checked upon arrival). Please arrive exactly on time at the stated event start time (no earlier or later; the door says closed but it is open).
Upon arrival, check-in with your host. After completing check-in administrative information and getting a drink, guests will first sit in opposing designated groups as the host gives an overview of and rules for the event. Each person is assigned a random number. For safety, no names or personal contact information is to be shared with other participants. Thereafter, couples will be paired up and sat in designated seats and be given 5 minutes to talk to one another based on prompts in the given form which is to be filled out. After everyone has had a chance to talk to everyone, the groups will be split up for a small little game competition.
Upon concluding the game, if anyone is interested in any person, they are to provide the numbers of those people to the host. If there is a match (as in both people turned in the other person's number), then the host will privately message those people the other person's preferred contact method on the next day.
Each ticket comes with one free drink from the bar from a select menu. You may save to get the drink after the event and stay/mingle as the bar will open for business and to the public at 5p.
Events may be cancelled if not enough people register for each group (if less than 6 tickets are sold; notified within 24 hours of the event). If so, tickets are fully refunded. You may cancel within 24 hours of the event for a full refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers, or changes (so no refund or attending another event if you fail to attend your scheduled event).
