Speed Dating with the Seattle Social Club is back!
We'll be hosting this event at Comet Tavern in Capital Hill! We'll be eschewing the traditional formal aspects of Speed Dating and updating it with a hip new space!
You'll be sitting with your matches in a more casual setting. Some of you will be sitting at the bar, discussing your passions with your dates. Others will be sitting at high tops conversing about their favorite foods. Or you may just be sitting at a normal table. There's something for everyone and all comfort levels!
What is Speed dating?
Speed dating is an efficient and fun way to meet and connect with lots of great potential partners through a series of brief dates. You will have three to four minutes to get to know each of your dates. Then you’ll move on to your next date. After all your dates have concluded, we’ll have an hour-long mingle session where you can interact with all the participants.
At the end of the night, you’ll fill out a sheet with your top dates and submit it to the hosts. If there are mutual matches, we’ll connect you two. Please note, that this event may have you in closer contact with your dates than in our other events. We take the safety and security of attendees VERY Seriously at our events and will be making sure nothing inappropriate, offensive, or dangerous happens. Despite the possibility of closer contact, there is still no touching or physical contact allowed as per our Code of Conduct.

The schedule for the event is roughly as follows:
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm Arrival and Check-in
7:05 pm Speed Dating begins
9:00 pm - 10:00 pm Group Mingle. Socialize with your matches and the event hosts!
This schedule is subject to change.
Refund Policy: We can accept refunds up until the day before the event. After that, it's too late since we will be unable to fill the spot last minute and it takes away from the experience of others at the event.
