Speed Dating & Singles Mixer (40s & 50s)

Charge your social battery and ditch the dating apps for a night! Step into a fun, relaxed environment where real conversations take center stage. Meet new people face-to-face, make genuine connections, and enjoy an evening of speed dating followed by a casual mixer—all designed to help you spark chemistry in a way no app can.

For our first event, we’re welcoming 20 men and 20 women in their 40s & 50s who are interested in forming genuine relationships. This is just the beginning—we plan to expand future events to include different age groups, introvert-friendly formats, queer-friendly gatherings, and spaces for people exploring alternative relationship styles. We’d love your feedback to help shape what comes next, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

We’re excited to host this event at The Mule, an inclusive and welcoming spot that’s generously providing us the space at a low cost. To support the venue, we encourage each guest to purchase at least one drink during the event.

The Mule will feature a mocktail & cocktail special for the evening, making it easy for everyone—whether you enjoy a drink or prefer a sober option—to feel included and comfortable.

A quick note on seating: The space doesn’t have a ton of small two-seat tables, so we’ll be creative with the arrangements. We appreciate your open-mindedness and flexibility—it’s all about having fun and connecting with new people!

Stage 1: Welcome & Icebreaker

After check-in, we’ll kick things off with a short welcome and Icebreaker. We'll set the tone for the evening: engage openly, treat others with respect, and leave ego at the door. We’ll also provide conversation prompts to help you explore whether there’s a real value match with the people you meet.

Stage 2: Speed Dating Rounds

Enjoy a series of five-minute mini-dates. Quick, fun, and low-pressure, these rounds are designed to help you get to know people and spark genuine connections. We'll have thoughtful prompts on the back of your match card to help the conversation flow.

Stage 3: Mixer & Matchmaking

At the end of the rounds, you’ll hand in your match cards. Then it’s time to unwind—join the casual mixer at the bar to continue conversations, grab a drink, and enjoy the night at your own pace. After the event, we’ll notify you of any mutual matches and provide contact details so you can connect with people you clicked with.
