About this Event
SpeedRailz is back in Austin and kicking off the Best Bartender in Texas tournament with a citywide qualifier event at the beautiful Cabana Club. This isn’t just a bartender competition — it’s a full-scale industry mixer, media day, and celebration of the craft.
Come meet the top bartenders from across Austin and surrounding areas as they go head-to-head in our qualifying round. Expect a high-energy environment with tastings, entertainment, and networking.
Qualifier Round Format
Bartenders will be tested on four classic speed cocktails:
• Old Fashioned
• Cosmopolitan
• Water Moccasin
• Kamikaze
Each competitor will race against the clock to craft these drinks in order. Top 8 fastest and cleanest runs will advance to the city finals in September
🎯 Schedule
• 3:00 PM – Competitor Sign in
• 3:30 PM – Product Tastings & Brand Education
Spirit partners will be pouring and providing insight into their craft.
• 4:00 PM – SpeedRailz Qualifying Rounds Begin
Watch some of Austin’s best behind the bar under pressure.
• 5:30 -7:30 PM – Media Hour + Networking
