Speech Recognition in Policing - hosted by JSaRC
Join us at the Joint Security and Resilience Centre HQ in Cambridge for a showcase event demonstrating the latest speech recognition software advancements to government and policing colleagues. The day will consist of a showcasing period for industry to demonstrate their technology, as well as a roundtable discussion.
The objectives are to demonstrate the latest voice recognition software to Government and Police colleagues, highlighting its capabilities and applications in policing and develop industry-Government/Police collaboration in this area. There will be senior Policing and Government officials at the event.
The day will provide industry partners a platform to present their cutting-edge innovations, enabling Policing and Government officials to explore how emerging technologies can enhance improve policing outcomes and save Police resources.
As part of the day, the Home Office will outline its priorities in this area and discuss opportunities to support the Department in the future. It will take on board feedback from industry to aid developments in this area and gain insights into technological developments.
The event will also provide networking opportunities with other industry and academic partners, in addition to Government and Policing Officials. We also aim to develop a community of interest in this area to aid development of technology and capabilities.
Registration Information:
Please indicate if you would like to attend and provide names of individuals who will attend. Due to capacity limitations, registration will be limited to two people from each company and the Home Office will select and limit the number of attendees whilst ensuring fair representation across industry and academia.
Selection criteria
· Voice recognition capabilities that is relevant to or can be made relevant to Policing.
· Companies that have or are in process of developing new technology in this area.
· Companies or individuals with expertise/knowledge in this area.
· Companies or academics who are looking to work closely or are currently working with Police in this area.
· Mix of SMEs, Primes and Academics.
