About this Event
Join us at Art/Space 114 for the opening of Speculative Artifacts featuring 18 thesis projects from recent graduates of the M.Arch and B.Arch programs at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
"Each work approaches architecture as a propositional medium. They are not final answers but artifacts of inquiry, carrying traces of experimentation and speculation. Drawings, models, films, and digital constructs are treated as sites where architecture thinks. They are not secondary to buildings, but the very places where architecture imagines, proposes, and rehearses possibilities." — Jackilin Hah Bloom, SCI-Arc Graduate Thesis Coordinator
This event coincides with DTLA Art Night, a vibrant evening where galleries across Downtown Los Angeles open their doors to art lovers, fostering a dynamic and immersive cultural experience.
We are thrilled to welcome these visionaries and invite you to engage with their innovative work!
