It’s been two years since Courtney’s last show at the gallery inside the Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance community center. In that time, she has become a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach and been exploring a “spectrum” of colors, new styles and techniques. That is what she is bringing to this month-long May exhibition. She still incorporates her ethos of upcycled materials in the canvases she finds second hand, the paint that comes from Starlandia Supply, and the surprise recycled detail here and there. However, Courtney has been spending most of her creative time exploring a deeper interpretation of her abstracts, honing her intuitive flow and emotional processing. It’s important to her to stay just outside of her comfort zone so she can broaden her range, rather than committing to a specific niche.
