About this Event
2-wheel tractors, 4-wheel tractors, hand-tools ...and more!
Join us for this 2-day intensive workshop on the equipment and tools used in specialty crop production. We’ll cover everything from field preparation, planting, cultivating, and harvesting, with a focus on growing annual vegetables and flowers. The weekend will include extensive hands-on demonstrations (outside and in our high tunnels), sessions on maintenance, purchasing/renting considerations, and more.
This workshop is led by specialists and farmers who have trialed many systems and will share both their decision-making process, and their favorite tools (and why). Sam Oschwald Tilton of Glacial Drift Entrerprises will lead this event, joined by Tim Brown of Broadview Farm and Gardens and others to be announced soon.
Fee $285 - Includes catered lunch & snacks each day, resource binder, and hands on demos.
