About Prairie Flower Market
Founded by Allison Lapointe-Lacelle of Songbird Flower Farm, the Prairie Flower Market was created to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and seasonality of locally grown flowers — and to connect the people who grow them with the people who love them.
After hosting a series of pop-up markets in 2024, we’re excited to be in our first full season as a dedicated flower-focused farmers' market. Each market is an opportunity to meet your local flower farmers, learn more about their work, and experience the magic of fresh, seasonal blooms grown right here in our region.
Prairie Flower Market grew out of the friendships, mutual support, and shared passion among local cut flower growers. What began as farmers leaning on one another for advice, spare blooms, or an extra set of hands has blossomed into a broader community — one that includes florists who value fresh, local flowers and customers who appreciate the unique joy of giving and receiving blooms that reflect the rhythm of the seasons.
Our vision is simple: to create a space where people can gather, connect with flower growers in their area, and discover the beauty of flowers grown close to home. We invite you to join us as we grow, and to celebrate with us all that local flowers have to offer
