In this course we learn how to calibrate espresso according to a set recipe, steam milk to desired texture for various espresso beverages, and begin training your palate for tasting excellent coffee.
SCA Barista Foundations is perfect for those interested in learning more about specialty coffee, whether it be as an at-home barista, or entering the industry on a professional level. No experience necessary.
The training session is held at Provision Coffee Training lab, located in Tempe, AZ. It is hosted by Licensed Authorized SCA Trainer and owner of Curated Coffee Consulting, Tarra Samuelson.
The completion of this course will allow you to take the Barista Foundations Certification test.
