Meet the talents
Dayme Arocena
Singer, composer, director
Daymé Arocena draws inspiration from the intertwining musical legacies of her native Cuba. A singer, composer, and choir director, she’s a bright-shining performer carrying the flame for a new generation of Cuban musicians. Approaching jazz, soul, and classical influences with an innate sense of rhythm, she released her second album, Cubafonía, in early 2017. With her home country’s rich musical traditions serving as the album’s springboard, she uses its different musical styles as the basis for each of Cubafonía’s tracks, finding outside influences, from her tours of the world these past two years, to build on them.
Munir Hossn
Just by listening to Munir Hossn's compositions and arrangements, we can imagine how big his way is by different countries and cultures. Brazilian, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, the mixture of Angolan, Arab, Italian, and indigenous Brazil makes him one of the most original artists.
Munir Hossn collaborated, produced and shared projects with artists like Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Quincy Jones e The Global Gumbo All Stars feat. Alfredo Rodriguez, Concha Buika, Didier Lockwood, Hermeto Pascoal, Roberto Mendes, Paco Sery, Roberto Fonseca, Jorge Pardo, Mayra Andrade, amongst others…
Yissy Garcia
A composer and drummer- is one of the most powerful artists of this new generation of Cuban musicians. There is a lot of groove in her drumsticks, and a lot of creative impulse in her. At the age of 30, the important things for her are rhythm and the way emotions are trapped by the sound language, as if the drums were just an extension of her body. The important things are ambiguity, the fusion between tradition and avant-garde, her ways of blurring the boundaries of Latin jazz, electronics, funk, R & B, and Afro-Cuban music.
Totti Lamadrid
The best youngest pianist in Miami. A talented musician who plays with the most genius: Munir Hossn, Magela Herrera, Roberto Vizcaino, Gilmar Gomez, and much more.
Parking: Limited and Free street parking is available
