Cleaning out closets and decluttering the garage and shed this Fall? Get rid of that Hazardous Household Waste (HHW), e-waste, plastics and more at Keep Norfolk Beautiful's Special Waste Collection Event on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon at Azalea Baptist Church (3314 E. Little Creek Rd).
Norfolk residents can properly dispose hazardous household waste, electronics, plastics, grocery bags and more.
This event also features secure, on-site shredding and a tree giveaway (while supplies last).
New this year! We're accepting nonperishable and canned food donations to support the PrimePlus Food Pantry. We're also accepting pet food donations to support the Community Pet Pantry at Norfolk Animal Care Center. Any kind of pet food is accepted - wet, dry, flavor or size - as long as it's unopened.
The Special Waste Collection Event is FREE and open to Norfolk residents. Proof of residency is required.
Special thanks to Azalea Baptist Church for hosting this event, and thank you to Camellia Shores Civic League and Norfolk CERT for your continued support!
