About this Event

As part of Black History Month, the University of Bristol is collaborating with Bristol Steppin Sistas, a walking group established to encourage women of colour to get involved in walking and meet others that may have shared lived experiences.

The aim is to help motivate women of colour to visit places they would not have ventured to rural areas around Bristol and further afield in the southwest, routes that can get women around the city and beyond, routes that stoke interest and wonder.

Location: The walk will be from the Bristol Harbourside - The meeting point will be Bristol Hippodrome 10 mins before we set off at 2pm for registration.

Route: We will be walking alongside the harbourside through to Leigh woods, through Ashton Gate and back to the city centre (up to 3 miles).

This event is only for University of Bristol Students who identify as Womxn of Colour (From Black, Asian and Racialised Minority group)
