We are so excited to welcome back Dr. Jay Wile to continue the conversation on why faith and science are not at odds with one another. This time he will include information specific to students 12 years and older about the importance of this topic with time for both the students and their parents to ask questions.
Many modern educators insist that science and religion cannot mix. As Dr. John Ellis wrote in How Science Works, “once you attribute any particular event to a supernatural agent…science becomes both irrelevant and impossible.”
But is that really true?
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking evening with Dr. Jay L. Wile, as he demonstrates why Christianity is not only compatible with science but essential to truly understanding it. Drawing from his expertise in nuclear chemistry, years of teaching experience, and extensive work as an author of award-winning K-12 homeschool science textbooks, Dr. Wile will share why faith and science are not at odds—and how Christian parents can equip their children with a strong, integrated understanding of both.
✨ About the Speaker:
Dr. Wile earned his Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry from the University of Rochester and has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a highly respected speaker on topics including Christian apologetics, homeschooling, creation vs. evolution, and the intersection of faith and science. His science curriculum has been used worldwide and translated into French, Korean, Chinese, and Afrikaans.
