Join us for an extra special Tuesday Story Time (and a craft!) with author Ellie Peterson!*FREE KIDS EVENT!
*This story time will be held in the Readings Gallery, rather than the kids' section!
Just like the characters in the book, we'll be getting ready to send letters! For our craft we'll be folding origami envelopes, designing and coloring our own "stamps", then writing sweet and friendly messages to put inside. Ellie will also have a free small container of kinetic sand and sand mold as a giveaway, while supplies last.

Ellie Peterson is the author and illustrator of multiple picture books, including Washington State Award Winner HOW TO HUG A PUFFERFISH. Her work is inspired by 20 years as a classroom teacher and her experience growing up as a biracial army brat. You can find her making art in her backyard studio or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and her dog Daisy.
