About this Event
PDCA’s Board of Directors has voted to present a special award to Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken in recognition of his extraordinary Public Diplomacy efforts during the four years of his service as Secretary of State.
A special forum has been scheduled for Tues., Jan. 14, at 12:00 p.m. at which the award will be presented and a panel will discuss Blinken's contributions to the understanding of U.S. policies and society during his four years of the Biden Administration. A videotape of the presentation of the award to the Secretary will be shown at the special forum.
The forum will take place at the George Washington University's Elliot School, 1957 E St NW, Room 505. The first 50 people to register for in-person participation will be able to attend the event, which will also be presented via Zoom. A sandwich lunch will be available for in-person guests who arrive by 11:40 a.m.
The event is cosponsored by PDCA's partners, the GWU Institute for Public Diplomacy & Global Communication and the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.
