Don't miss this special evening of the celebration of RUNNING!! The Historical Society is hosting a program on the History of Running in Oak Park & River Forest, where they are featuring several Oak Park Runners Club members as well other runners in our local community.
Arrive by 6:45 pm for the welcome reception. The program will start at 7:00 pm, where we will hear some inspiring personal stories of how running has impacted the lives of each presenter.
After the program (~8:00 pm), there will be time to browse the exhibits at the museum and mingle with the others.
We will top off the evening with a Special 90th Birthday Celebration of one of our club’s founding members, the Amazing Bob Hakes, complete with cake & refreshments!
