Get ready to brave the cold for a great cause. Join us for our Annual Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics BC – Kelowna and help raise funds that directly support local athletes and programs.📅 Sunday, March 8, 2025
📍 City Park – Hot Sands Beach (near the basketball courts)
⏰ Arrival: 2:00 PM
🌊 Plunge: 2:30 PM
Take the plunge into Okanagan Lake or come cheer from the shore — either way, you’ll be part of a fun community event supporting inclusive sport across Kelowna.
Registration is optional but encouraged, especially if you’d like to fundraise and earn incentive prizes:
• Raise $50 ($75 for non-athletes) – Polar Plunge neck-warmer
• Raise $200 – Polar Plunge cooler bag
• Raise $1,000 – Polar Plunge fleece vest + Plunge Hero recognition
Important donation note:
To be eligible for prizes, donations must be submitted online by March 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Donations collected after this time will still support SOBC but will not count toward prizes.

Park washrooms will be open for the duration of the event.
All funds raised stay local and support Special Olympics BC – Kelowna athletes and programs.
